Izack Hunt's got some 'Bad Love' - new single out now
When people hear Izack Hunt perform the reactions are always the same; amazing voice and connection to the lyrics. He is a storyteller, singing about the struggles of life and love. His music is a mixture of pop and soul, acoustic and electronic.
At just 16 years of age Izack has achieved finalist positions is the Muster Talent Search and Aristocrat Junior Entertainer of the Year Awards, a highly recommended in the QLD Music Awards and Semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition for his first single Hold You Closer (recorded with Hall of Fame Alumni Louie Shelton) and performed as a soloist at the Woodford Folk Festival, QLD Music Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Gympie Music Muster.
Izack received a Regional Arts Development Grant from the Noosa Council to write and record his first EP during 2018. The opening single from the EP, 'Bad Love' which is out now. 'Bad Love' was recorded with producer James Russell at Heliport Studios in Buderim, QLD.
Of Izack, James says ‘Izack is an incredibly talented up and coming artist, who not only has a firm comprehension of the nuances and tonality of the current pop sound but has the work ethic to match. That paired with a genuine and humble nature, reflected in his lyrics, shows a depth and wisdom beyond his years that I see will take him far.’
Izack dreams big; during his radio interview on ABC Sunshine Coast he said ‘I don’t see myself as an underachiever, I’d like to completely go to extreme levels… to the top’. He sees himself conquering the big stages through hard work and perseverance.
