QUBE Effect artists need your votes...

The QUBE Effect is a music program that provides live performance and promotional and development opportunities for emerging and professional Brisbane musicians.

Twenty-four musical groups, including soloists, duos and bands, have been shortlisted by an industry panel and will be provided the opportunity to nurture their talent as musicians over a six-month program. The program includes video clip filming, industry networking, live performances, management workshops, prizes and more.

Voting is now open for the People’s Choice Award! You have until 5 June 2018 to watch the recorded video clips and vote for your favourite act. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will take home a $2000 cash prize, courtesy of Telstra, as well as a paid performance at Jungle Love Festival 2018. 

And guess what... we've managed to sneak 2 artists (well... one and a bit) into the finalists.

Vote for Dosed to win The QUBE Effect's People's Choice Award - https://bne.cc/2qEoxOp. Dosed are a trio from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland that really do go way back. Their colourful mix of personalities creates a contagious high-energy stage presence that makes it hard for the spectator to shy away.

And Huntington (the 'bit)... as they do have a well-known Coast musician in Kristen (on guitar).

The band have burst into the music scene with a signature ambient dance rock sound. This video is part of Brisbane City's Council's The QUBE Effect competition.
