Sunshine Coast three-piece Fragile Animals return with new single ‘Landing’, the first cut of their forthcoming second EP, and announce east coast tour dates.

An upliftingly, airy offering from their forthcoming sophomore EP is part indie-pop, part shoegaze paragon. Luscious layering of slow burning choruses and intricate guitar melodies, 'Landing' draws inspiration from the difficulty of letting go, Fragile Animals vocalist and bassist Victoria Jenkins explains, "I wrote the lyrics for Landing on a flight late last year. I was giving up something that meant a lot to me and all I could think about was every little thing that had led me there."

Following a well-met debut EP Light That Fades and a triple j Unearthed feature spot at local Big Pineapple Festival the trio wasted no time jumping back into the studio with producer Elliot Heinrich (Ayla, High-Tropics) to record a follow-up.

Having honed their live prowess over the last 12 months supporting the likes of Polish Club, Bugs, and Jebediah, Fragile Animals head out on a headline east coast tour in October, hitting Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast this October.

You can catch Fragile Animals at Solbar this month, on October 20th.
