New Release Friday

It seems like Sunshine Coast artists were busy in the studio over the Christmas break, because we’ve got more new releases to show you.

Fragile Animals are backing up a huge 2018 with a new track - ‘Come Down’. Following the announcement that their previous single, ‘Landing’ has been shortlisted as a semi-finalist for the 2018 International Songwriting Competition. Teaming up again with Elliot Heinrich, Mike Marsh and Heliport Studios, this new tune is a winner.

Alt-rock trio, Muules have kickstarted their 2019 on a slightly softer note, compared to their previous releases. New ballad ‘Unabated’ originally started life out as a slow-burning blues tune by vocalist Nathan, morphing into a synth-heavy track, which meets a climatic wall of the trademark Muules bass. This is the first release they’ve done that is self-produced and mixed, with mastering duties done by Paul Blakey at 12th and Vine (Cheap Fakes, Amy Shark, Bearfoot).

And we’ve finally had a well over-due release from the amazing Fieu. Doubled-up vocals and harmonies galore, the new track ‘Cheaper Than a Drug’. With the new song not due out officially until March 1st, if you head over to HHHHappy Mag as they are premiering the film clip to this epic track right now.
