Big Sunday Reggae fix on the Coast
It’s that time of year where we can be spoilt for choice for live music on the Sunshine Coast, and Sunday December 16th is no exception to the rule, with a massive reggae/roots party exploding over two venues for one ultimate Sunday session.
The Waterfront Hotel brings you the next instalment of Roots Rock Reggae by the River, kicking off at 12pm. Five bucks gets you Mantis Empire, The Roustabouts, plus The Parker Street Dub Club and Boom Boom Sound System. Bring the good vibes despite this weather.
And over at The Shared in Yandina, Boogie and his team have put together another Roots Rock Reggae Sunday - the last one for 2018. From 4pm, the Yandina venue will bring you Brisbane roots/soul/funk legends, Kayso Grande (massive sound - a must see), along with Sol Tradas, and (basically The Shared’s house band) Love Inc. You’ll get all that for a tenner.
So for a grand total of $15, plus a little bit of fuel money, spread yourself out over the Sunday with a tasty roots/reggae/rock/funk/soul selection.
