Sunshine Coast Music News, June 8 2017

Oh man, it's a big weekend coming up.  Firstly, tonight at Solbar, catch TOWN and Dear Willow teaming up in the front lounge.  TOBIAS will be up at Cafe Le Monde as well.  Tomorrow night, whollllleee different story, with OKA and Almost Lazy making you move at Solbar, Pete Allan Collective in the front lounge as well, OR Butterfingers up at The V Room, OR Taasha Coates at Bison Bar (if you prefer to enjoy chilling to music, and sipping on cocktails), and at Alex Surf Club, Steve Hargreaves and Ryan Giles.
Then we step up a gear...
Sea N Sound Festival returns to The Wharf, featuring Boy and Bear, Busby Marou, Tijuana Cartel, Timberwolf, Selahphonic, Chris Flaskas, Sametime, Tay Oskee, Doolie & CRVKS... phew...
Or, head up to Full Moon Dance with The Floating Bridges, Band of Frequencies, ITES, and Jesswah & Asher.
OR... Solbar with Buck Dean & the Green Lips, The Badlands and Big Whoops (formerly Ill Eagles) for some raunchy rock action. Bubkiss will be in the front room as well.
And then Sunday, wrap it all up with Pete Allan Trio at Alex Surf Club, Hayden Hack, Jackson Villani at Solbar, and Mick Thomas & the Roving Commission at The Bison Bar.
AND the Noosa Come Together Festival at Pirate Park featuring The Sunny Coast Rude Boys, TOWN, Barry Charles, Annie J & Fusion, The Strangest Dreamers and a whole load more. FOR. FREE.
Told you it's going to be a big weekend.
Also, keep in mind that next weekend will be visited by Dead Letter Circus, Justin Tebbutt & Lisa Mitchell, A Set Adrift at Mooloolaba with Bearfoot (just about sold out), plus The Nambour Side Show (at the Sunshine Coast Show) which features The Jensens, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate, TOISOC, Buck Dean & the Green Lips, Dosed, Asher Chapman Trio, Doolie and a whole heap more over three days.
Then you'll have a few days to recover before you take in Cheap Fakes on their Touch N Go Single Tour, where they stop by Solbar.  The new single completely blindsided us with it's different direction, and we're damn well digging it.  So much so that we did a Q & A with Hayden from Cheap Fakes to dig a little deeper.  You can read that here.
