For those that haven't applied for this year's BIGSOUND, you're in luck, as applications have been extended until May 21st, so pull your fingers out, and get those applications in.
This week AYLA re-emerged with a brand new, stunning single in 'Shallow End'. While AYLA's signature vocal style is ever-present, production-wise, we feel the song heads slightly in a new direction, and we're digging it. Go grab it/stream it here.
This week, we also reviewed No Intelligent Life's self-titled EP.  Fans of heavy grunge and Australian Alt-Rock, go have a read, and get yourself a download of the release.  Read the review here.
We also know that Whiskey & Me have finished, pressed and got their EP ready to go. The impressive two/three/four/sometimes five-piece outfit with their harmonies and solid guitar work will be launching the EP in July at the Imperial Hotel in Eumundi (July 22), with support from Bub-Kiss.
Dead Letter Circus fans, you can now get your copy of 'The Endless Mile', which is a re-imagining of their debut EP, as well as a few other tracks.  Get that here.  We've been digging the re-arrangements, but, for those that like their DLC loud, never fear, for they are coming to Solbar on June 16.
We noticed a sneaky pic put out onto the interwebs from The Floating Bridges this week too. Looks like they're back in the studio with new material to come soon.
It must be a week for teases though, as Bearfoot were pretty cryptic on their Instagram, alluding to something in the works as well. Stay tuned.
