Sunshine Coast Music News, March 2 2017

Another big week/weekend of music coming up on the Sunshine Coast, with Hot 8 Brass Band & Bullhorn teaming up tonight at Solbar (with TOWN in the front bar), King Parrot, She Cries Wolf, Holistic, Endless and New Clear Vision at The V Room tomorrow night, Pro Vita back in town to play Solbar tomorrow night, and Katy Steele (Little Birdy) playing Solbar on Saturday night.  Plus all the smaller shows littered through the Coast (including one Mr Matt Stillert back in town).  Check the Gigs page for details.

In Festival news, Big Pineapple Music Festival tickets are selling out very quickly, with only limited general admission tickets left.  If you have no luck with the online tickets, you can always try the local bands that are playing the festival (as they usually have tickets for sale as well - handy tip).
Caloundra Music Festival Artist Applications will be closing NEXT WEEK. If you want to have a chance at being a part of the 11th Caloundra Music Festival, click here to head to their artist application page. (Just a side note, the festival recommends checking out previous line-ups to see if you/your band would suit the festival).

Nicely done, Fragile Animals, on getting some recognition from the J Unearthed crew.  The single, 'Signals' (try saying that five times fast), was giving a decent review from Mr Dom Alessio. If you haven't heard it yet, head here.
Other new releases to check out this week include -
Some punk goodness from Blend with 'OPM' (listen here)
The Kombi Killers coming out of hiding with three face-melters, 'Heaven', 'Law', and 'Everythings Gone' (listen here)
Sludgy, chunky alt rock/metal from those Moose Knuckle dudes (listen here)
And some alt/rock tunes from three-piece, The Vacant (listen here).

After a cracker of a launch at Solbar last weekend, All Strings Attached have launched a new website in anticipation of their brand new album. Go have a look at , prepare thyselves for 'Incantations For Strange Folk' (due March 12), and catch them at the next Peregian Originals.
