Taken from the band’s new EP Two Strangers, ‘Stars’ is a piece of a larger puzzle that focuses on relationships and its different stages. Melodic, hearty and delivered with rich charm, The Kava Kings put their stamp on the second half of 2019 with a fresh collection of material, primed for the live stage.

All systems are go as the annual, all-female contemporary music festival, Space Girls, today announces a stellar lineup for its Queensland Satellite Party on Friday, 13 September.
Lifting off in T-Minus 29 Days : 7 hours : 15 minutes, the 2019 Space Girls event will be MC’d by Double J’s Sarah Howells and features indie rock guitar slinger, Jaguar Jonze; award-winning electro-pop artists, Ella Fence and DOOLIE; breakthrough Indigenous DJ , Dameeeela; Aus-Fijian singer songwriter Andrea Kirwin; looping pop harpist, ELSKA; and folk-pop sibling act, The Dennis Sisters.

One of Australia’s most impressive and beloved pop exports, Amy Shark is coming home for an intimate Australian regional tour in October and November. Fresh off her national tour earlier this year, which sold over 30,000 tickets and saw Amy performing at some of the country’s largest venues, she will now be bringing her critically acclaimed debut album Love Monster and faves from her EP Night Thinker to regional fans all across the country. The tour will kick off at NEX in Newcastle on October 3, and will then move through Canberra, Coffs Harbour, Lake Kawana, Darwin, Wodonga, and Geelong, and wrapping up in Hobart at the renowned Odeon Theatre on November 8. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 13 August at 9am local time.

Toxic Fox have been busy. Their debut single ‘Bond Street’ was released in April, and hit over 30K streams on Spotify in its first two months. The band completed a successful East Coast tour and festival appearance in response, with their live shows pulling a notable crowd. The reception has been warm to the young Sunshine Coast band, with a promising start to their efforts at taking on the Australian music scene, with fans and critics alike celebrating the new sound.

Age shall not weary The Beasts, although the years may condemn. After the emotional and frankly devastating loss of their fellow footsoldiers and Australian musical icons Brian Hooper and Spencer P Jones in 2018, Tex Perkins and compadres Kim Salmon, Tony Pola, Boris Sujdovic and Charlie Owen resolved to continue carrying the torch of the unstoppable life force that is the Beasts of Bourbon. Gathering all remaining members past and present to record a set of jams and covers that became the new album Still Here, and here was proof that there was life in the old dogs yet.
The Beasts set forth, claiming monster territory on their ‘Still Here’ National tour in November/December, stopping by the Sunshine Coast to play Solbar on December 14.

The Imperial Hotel Eumundi will host the inaugural OFFBEAT MUSIC FESTIVAL on Saturday 2 November 2019, with a limited number of EARLY BIRD TICKETS now on sale at just $65 pp.
The festival will take place from 12noon - late, boasting five stages across five rooms. Festival Organiser Alice Jones says OFFBEAT will bring together a vibrant community of musicians, artists and performers.
